的团体会员，已成为全球口腔医学领域中的重要成员。
Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA) is a national, academic and nonprofit
organization of science and technology professionals in stomatology as well as
relevant medical schools, institutions, enterprises, and social organizations. CSA
serves as the link and bridge between the government and the professionals, as
well as the social force to develop stomatology in China. CSA is the only first-
grade national academic society in stomatology registered at Ministry of Civil Affairs,
and supervised by the National Health Commission (NHC) and China Association
for Science and Technology (CAST). CSA was founded on November 17th 1996,
formerly known as the Society of Stomatology, Chinese Medical Association (CMA),
established in 1951. CSA now has over 140,000 individual members and 447
collective members.
Under national constitution, laws, regulations and policies, CSA aims to unite
the stomatological professionals, serve for science and technology professionals,
promote innovation-driven development and scientific popularization of the public,
and provide consultant service for government policy-making. The objectives of
CSA are to promote the prosperity, development, innovation and popularization of
stomatology, facilitate the improvement of stomatological professionals and promote
people's oral health of China. CSA actively holds academic activities, sticking to the
scientific attitude and learning style of seeking truth from facts, building integrity and
credibility, opposing academic misconduct. By promoting academic democracy, CSA
initiates the scientific spirit and socialism medical ethics of "innovation, truth-seeking,
cooperation and dedication" and carries forward the tradition of healing the wounded,
rescuing the dying and serving the people. Also, CSA conveys the views and
suggestions of stomatological community, as well as safeguarding their lawful rights
and interests. CSA is also a member of World Dental Federation (FDI), International
Association for Dental Research (IADR) and International College of Dentists (ICD),
playing an important role in international dental community.
